How to be (less) Awkward: Add the recipient’s name to the “TO:” line as the last thing you do when writing an email, not the first. This helps prevent accidentally sending the email before you finish typing or spell-checking it.

    I always follow this Less Awkward tip – such a little thing, but it can stop you looking really unprofessional when you send something half-done! *top tip*!

    I think you used the less awkward tip before, but it totally bears repeating! I’ve been using it ever since I saw it here, and it has been a life saver. No more lost jobs due to my cover letter saying, “Please see my resume, attached…” with no attachments. *headdesk*
