How to be Smarter: Haggling isn’t something to be ashamed of. Everyone–from Donald Trump to the homeless guy outside your apartment–loves a good deal. Asking for a price that is fair and reasonable, even if it different than what the buyer/seller wants, is okay. The worst thing they can say is no.
How to be Prettier: Chose one feature–chest or legs–to leave bare when going out. The other one should be covered to avoid looking too free.
How to be (less) Awkward: If you are blessed enough to be healthy and young, give up your seat on the subway to someone who isn’t as lucky. (Obviously same goes for pregnant women and people with small children).

How to be Smarter: Technically, an  accessory can’t make you smarter. But that’s no reason NOT to use the same brand of notebook used by Hemingway and Picasso. I like this one

How to be Prettier: Watching the music video to “Reach Out” by Hilary Duff before heading out for the night always makes me feel prettier.
How to be (less) Awkward: Sometimes, you just have to laugh at the awkward.

How to be Smarter: If you are ever in an avalanche, and you can’t tell which way is up or down, spit. The way your spit goes will tell you which way is down, and you can go the opposite way.

How to be Prettier: Pointed-toe flats elongate your legs more than rounded-toed shoes.
How to be (less) Awkward: When drinking, stay away from salty foods like chips, peanuts, and bar nuts. The salt makes you feel dehydrated, making you want to drink more.
